Gorilla Jobs is seeking a PGY4 Emergency Medical Officer for ongoing solo night shifts at a busy rural Emergency Department in regional Victoria. This is a great option if you're confident running a department overnight with strong nursing and on-call support and would like a stable, repeating roster. We are looking for one doctor to commit to: An 8-shift block of solo ED nights in each 4-week cycle Ongoing, repeating pattern over a full 12 months This suits someone who wants: Regular, predictable locum income A repeating roster they can plan around The chance to consolidate emergency skills in a rural setting Clinical Environment: Solo cover of a busy rural ED overnight Assessment and management of a broad range of presentations (trauma, medical, paeds, mental health, minor injuries and illness) Stabilisation and transfer of higher-acuity patients with retrieval support as needed Working closely with experienced nursing staff and on-call medical support Eligibility Criteria: PGY4 with strong Emergency Medicine or acute care experience Current ALS Neo-resus certification Confident working solo overnight with nursing and on-call support Recent ED experience in Australia or a comparable system AHPRA General Registration and Australian working rights Willingness to complete credentialing and standard compliance for the health service Interested?
